The Hayseed D.A.

The Hayseed D.A. is a documentary short film detailing my grandfather’s book, Confessions of a Hayseed D.A., and how it came to currently be in the process of being published by SUNY Press (it was later published in April 2022 after the completion of this film). His book describes his 9 years in office as district attorney of Rockland County, NY in the late 1960s and early 70s. The manuscript was found in 2019 — 15 years after his death — by my aunt and his daughter, Kathleen Meehan Do. This film was an official selection for the 4th MEIHODO International Youth Visual Media Festival. ©2021.
